Just A Quick REMINDER: Stand Firm in Your FAITH!

Posted on March 17, 2015 at 9:49 AM
Greetings!

BlogFam -
Here is a quick word of REMINDER to you on today:
If you do not stand firm in your faith,
then you will not stand at all.
[Isaiah 7:9b]

I know that this word is not a deep revelation for some of you but it is at the very least a quick REMINDER to us all.  It is a word from the Lord, in the context of Isaiah 7, when the King of Judah is threatened by two other armies.  The threat is such that the hearts of the king and his people "trembled like trees in a forest shaking in he wind." [7:2]

Have you ever felt like the attack of your enemy was so close that your heart trembled?
Have you ever seen the odds stacked up against you or seen trouble surrounding you and you froze in fear?

Have you ever just heard that someone was out to get you and you ran scared or at least dropped to your knees to get protection from above?

Well, my friends, whether you will admit it to another person or not, we have ALL been challenged, threatened, and attacked by an enemy.  There exists an antagonistic spirit in the earth that will do all that it can to steal, kill, and destroy anyone who desires to please the Lord!  If you have never been in a position to answer YES to the opening questions, well, one day you will.  And on today, I want to love you enough to tell you that GOD IS WITH YOU, just as God was with the King of Judah.  Actually, the message to the king through the prophet was this: Calm Down.  Be Quiet.  Don't be afraid or cowardly.  It will not happen.  It will not occur.  And if you do not stand firm in your faith, then you will not stand firm at all.

Friends, I dare you to take the same advice!  Honestly, I believe that if we would just stand firm in our faith, ALL the time, and not just when we are in danger or scared, I think that our confidence in the power of God would better shape our perspective of what is happening and  override the enemy, or dare I say the "inner me."

BlogFam, the next time you are surrounded, blocked, terrorized, or attacked by your enemy, STAND FIRM IN YOUR FAITH and let God what God wills to do on your behalf!  Calm Down.  Be Quiet.  Don't be afraid or cowardly.  Your destruction will not happen.  It will not occur.

GOD LOVES YOU and I DO TOO!
Blessings, Glory and Sunshine!
DELESSLYN
